Twisted Christmas?

Christmas like you've never seen before. Christmas cards made with colors that aren't what people typically see as Christmas colors. Court is hosting a 20 week blog challenge with 'Blog Candy' and all.

As you may or may not know Courtney is expecting her second son in October and so I hope to be helping her with this when he little one comes.
I am excited to be making cards for the challenges as well as helping pick winners.

If you have any questions I am sure I can help.
Enjoy and Happy Twisted Christmas.

Workshop?

So Courtneyis a Stampin' Up demonstrator and is trying to get my to have a Stampin' Up workshop with her. I would love to but since I am new to stampin' I don't have alot of friends who would be interested in doing a workshop.
I have a few friends who are very crafty who I am ask if they would be interested in maybe seeing what stamping is all about.
I wish I had a group of friends who I could just sit around a table and talk girly talk and do crafts like girls should do.

I wish I had more connections to this whole arts and crafts world.

Gift Card Holder

A few months back Courtney and I kinda got on this card kick and me being the newbie I am was looking online non-stop for ideas. And Court is doing The Corn Fest craft fair with her Grandmother in August so we were looking for some easy ideas of things we could make that she could sell. And this is what we came up with... I will say that this was not my idea but I think they are cute as can be and not that hard to make.

Enjoy

Past times...

So hand painted wooden nursery letters were my favorite craft of choice for a very long while. I haven't made any in well over a year and as of recently I have been itching to but have had no reason to really. But with my 2 best friends having babies in the next 6 months I think I should get to it.
I don't have much right now to post in this blog so I thought I would just post a few of my favorite things I have done in the past. Enjoy.

These above were painted on wooden letters, and I painted these in one night. I free handed all the plaids and everything. I love these.

These were painted on 5x7 canvas and these took me about 2 weeks. I did copy the patterns and stuff from the bedding from the babies nursery. I drew it all out in pencil first then painted over, as you can see from the little pirate the detail was very fine. I love these very much, they are the only ones I have done like them.
